Errata July 2008 for book: Spitfire Mk. IX & XVI engineered 1st edition, 1st printing.
The following mistakes and clarification have been identified for some captions and technical drawings.
- pg. 6.46 Table 6.46-1 & -2. Rib ordinates. Change L/E radii to: Rib 0 = 0.39" (9.91mm), Rib 2 = 0.39" (9.91mm), Rib 3 =0.38"
                (9.65mm), Rib 4 = 0.36" (9.14mm), Rib 5 = 0.33" (8.38mm), Rib 6 = 0.33" (8.38mm), End Rib = 0.23" (5.84mm).
- pg. 7.29, 7.30, 7.31 Ordinate Rib 12a. Delete entire entry.
- pg. 7.30-7.31 Ordinate typo Rib 0, Stn 8 upper change to 3.66" (92.96mm), stn 9 upper change to 2.050" (52.07mm),
      stn 9.5 lower, change to 0.63" (16.00mm).
- pg. 7.30-7.31 Ordinate typo Rib 5, stn .75 upper, change to 5.5" (139.70mm) and stn 7 upper, change to 4.86" (123.44mm).
- pg. 7.30-7.31 Ordinate typo Rib 7, stn 0.25 lower, change to 1.83" (46.48mm).
- pg. 7.30-7.31 Ordinate typo Rib 9, stn 7 upper change to 4.37" (111.00mm) and stn 9.5 lower change to .5" (12.70mm).
- pg. 7.30 Change text line 9 to read “Offset all of the rib stations starting from the L/E nominal and label with text.”
                Change the order of text lines. Lines 7/8 change to 9/10 and lines 9/10 become 7/8.

- pg. 2.16 Change caption from ‘oxygen’ to “air”.
- pg. 3.29 Table 3.29-1 change dim‘n B to 10.85" (275.59mm) and dim’n C to 5.54" (140.72mm).
- pg. 7.01, 7.18 Chapter 7 WING. B-wing annotations and captions should be stricken from the entire book.
                B-wing type does not apply to the Mk. IX aircraft. The C-wing should be substituted in all cases.
- pg. 7.99 Rad. fairing ordinate tables 7.99-1 & -2 metric… Stn 1-G change to (326.39mm), stn 5-D 0.86" (21.84mm),
                stn 17-C 0.39" (9.91mm), 17-D 0.41" (10.41mm).
- pg. 9.73 Change header ‘Oxygen bottles’ to “Pneumatic system air bottles” & captions from ‘oxygen’ to “air”.
- pg. 9.79 Change caption ‘Ferry’ to “Very pistol”.

- pg. 7.19 Change Mk V to Mk II.
- pg. 7.20 Delete comments after the first sentence. Delete mention of the Mk V cannon.
- pg. 7.27 Change Mk V to Mk II. Change 750 to 600.
- pg. 7.43 Delete “short barrel” Mk V. Change to Mk II cannon. Add “Fairing, e-wing”.
